Join us at Designmuseum Danmark for an afternoon discussing the potentials of ambiguity as a conceptual framework for design.
International speakers have been invited to share perspectives on ambiguity as a resource for design. Ambiguity should not be understood as a virtue on its own, but rather as conscious, conceptual framework that allows the exposure of inconsistency and create space for interpretation. Ambiguity, in this context understood as a form of ‘doubleness’, or even ‘incorrectness’, can be an important factor in crafting design that is engaging and thought-provoking - thereby offering designers the ability to raise questions and perspectives for consideration without offering particular solutions.
